Mission Statement
It is the mission of the CRTC to teach cognitive behavior skills, and provide support, in order to help residents live balanced and prosocial lives in the community, while ensuring their safety and the safety of the community.
Individual approach
We take into account the unique needs of each resident and work to create a treatment plan that meets those needs.
Challenge to Change
Residents are challenged to change their thinking and behaviors which have led to bad outcomes.
Commitment to Change
Residents strengthen their knowledge & skills to bring about changes that can lead to a more responsible life.
Ownership for Change
Residents take ownership over changes made and work at maintaining those changes over time. Emphasis is placed on managing high-risk thinking, emotions, and situations.
